Rainy Days

Thank God for Pinterest!  The kids now search for their own experiments.  This one involves simply baking soda, vinegar with food coloring and a turkey baster (because that's all I had...the baster).  They love fizzies.

The birds out here (in the country) are amazing.  This pic is taken from far, far away.  After today's rain, we stood outside watching this hawk fly around and then perch atop a cypress tree.  It was hard to see it, but our new camera helped us out.  I can't figure out what bird this is exactly, so if anyone knows, please leave a comment.
