Smokey Mountains

We took our 2nd trip to the Smokey Mountains this summer.  We camped at Smokemont and Deep Creek.  It was very different camping during the summer.  It rained a lot and was warmer; although, it was quite cooler than LA!  We hiked a couple of hikes:  Andrew's Bald (3.5 mls.) and Kephart Prong (4 mls.).  The kids complained a lot, guess that comes with being older, but they did great.  We also tubed Deep Creek and mined Rose Creek near Franklin, NC. We met a great family from NC which made camping lots of fun.
