This smile says it all! At 8 1/2 yrs. old Ruth is digging books. This girl reads non-stop. We have to put restrictions on her! She has a great mind and good sense of humor, always making us laugh. Last night while we were playing Scrabble (our new family favorite) she was looking at a toy that said Made In China. She began singing in her opera voice, "Made in Chinnnnaaaa (then dead serious)....why's everything always made in China?" This morning I woke up to her making us all oatmeal. She's a take charge girl and I appreciate all of her help. When she grows up she wants to be....get ready for this...a mama and a wife! Ta dah! Recently she entered the Spring Writing contest at the library, submitting a piece entitled
Thy Ancient Eyes. Really cute. She's singing beautifully with Ms. Shelby and still playing piano and attending ballet.
