Lego Extravaganza

Our son is the best Lego engineer in the world. This year he made a city entered into the category of "Scenes" and placed first.  It included an off-shore drilling platform with an accompanying crew boat, a commercial fishing boat with a crane for sharks, forklift to carry the fish to the cleaning station, cafes, restaurants, tackle store and too many other things to list.  He velcroed the pieces to a huge piece of plywood.  Ruth attended this year also.  Before this event, we spent a few weeks doing a Lego unit study with a lap book which they both enjoyed.
