Unschooling

I am discovering the more that I relax and trust the learning process, the more I like the concept of unschooling. They learn so much more! The other day I was in bed doing my bible study and the girls migrated in of course, they grabbed their own bibles and Ruth copied words in her journal, all on her own accord. Canaan had me spell a word the other day, and to my surprise he was sending someone a thank you letter...without me telling him! (big deal here) So as far as buying a phonics program...I figure if I trust this process enough they will just learn to read??? I am still unsure of that concept.
