Flex Week

Every 9 weeks our curriculum has what is called Flex Week. During this week we basically review what we've learned, either through narration or by flipping through our binder. They choose their best penmanship, favorite picture study, and read or show their projects to family.

This week each child chose an animal or insect that we studied in science, made a poster and gave an oral report. The kids were so proud and their posters were cute. Today we read How a Book is Made by Aliki and made books again and read them to the group. The kids loved making and reading their books.

For art today we made a fall craft by using hand and finger prints to form trees and leaves.
