Lake Martin

The weather has warmed up nicely this week, hence the shirtless pictures above. The kids have been outside all day almost every day. We have new neighbors behind us who happen to homeschool also; so every afternoon, the older kids jump the fence to play in the backyard. It is so convenient and an answer to many years of prayer. There are no other children on our street. Not only are they just a jump over the fence, they are all very nice, have the same schedule as us and are active in their church like us. Lots of common ground.

The pictures above are from Lake Martin. A spontaneous Valentine's Day trip to the lake. So nice to have it nearby. We only stayed for 2 hours but had our share of hiking, viewing wildlife and enjoying perfect springlike weather!
