Girl Time

With the boys gone, we girls really enjoyed our time together.  Here we're geared up in EdenScapes wear delivering pointsettas for the clients.  We began the New Year with having another girl with us, thirteen year old Yada.  She came Mon-Fri from 5:30 am to sometimes 5pm.  Her quiet, shy ways changed to lots of giggles and fun talk as she grew accustomed to our household.  She did her work at her desk in my room and came out for me to review Science and Algebra with her.  She played with the girls constantly and could be seen coasting down the driveway on our scooter daily or catching turtles with Ruth in the ditch or swinging with Grace out back.  She fit right in and is deeply missed now that she's back in TN.
Aside from having Yada with us, we really got to bring our focus back to school.  Ruth continued with Sequential Spelling, Gamma Math-U-See, 4th gr. Language Lessons, various writing workbooks and Abeka penmanship.  Grace advanced in reading skills and handwriting.  Her love for school waned and she'd finish quickly to play with her Calico Critters or Barbies.  Aside from school, we picked up odd jobs, such as watering plants, cleaning the church, & watching Yada.  I love having my girls with me and training them how to be homemakers!
